US Department of Energy (DoE) for 2016 for external power supply (EPS) energy requirements Level VI exclusions Description


US Department of Energy (DoE, Department of Energy) in accordance with the Energy Policy Management Act (Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA), the requirements in the United States sold the external power supply (EPS External power supply) from 2016 February 10 onwards energy efficiency requirements at least through Level VI , except in accordance with the following exclusion clause:
  1.  It meets all of the following criteria Class A EPS (Level V) can not comply with:
  1. Manufacturing in between July 1, 2008 to 30th June 2015.
  2. The end product as a spare parts and manufacturing in July 1, 2008.
  1. EPS meets the following requirements at July 1, 2017 can not meet the Level VI load consumption (0.1W, 0.21W or 0.5W):
  1. Products for the AC-to-AC EPS.
         b. Exceeds 20W or more.
  1. It is designed to maintain the production system is connected to the safety, alarm, life.
  1. US Department of Health Food Safety Authority medical EPS.
  2. AC-DC EPS can not be considered subject to the following conditions:
         a. Output voltage (nameplate output voltage) is less than 3V, the output current is greater than 1000mA (nameplate output current).
         b. And for charging the battery or take moving motor direct operation AC-DC EPS.
